
All funds raised directly support the Special Olympics Indiana -Marion County Southside Storms program and Storm athletes. Athletes do not pay fees to participate in sporting activities (with exception of bowling) and Marion County Southside Storm spectators do not pay admission fees to attend events. Annual operational costs for the Special Olympics Indiana – Marion County South program to stay afloat is approximately $17,000 to cover expenses incurred for softball diamonds rental fees, basketball court rental fees, referees, umpires, uniforms, team competition entry fees, summer State games entry fees, as well as other special social events and banquets throughout the year.
