Special Olympics Indiana basketball season begins in early November and runs through the end of March. Teams are divided according to skill level and age, usually resulting in six or seven teams within the Special Olympics Indiana – Marion County South organization. Practices for Marion County Southside Storm teams are held on Monday evenings at Garfield Park, Southport Heights Christian Church, and New Life Church. Game locations rotate between several locations.
