Chili Cook-Off / Halloween Party / Silent Auction
Every October, Special Olympics Indiana – Marion County South hosts a combination Chili Cook-Off, Halloween Party, and Silent Auction Fundraiser. This event has something for everyone while raising money to offset Marion County Southside Storm expenses. Whether it’s Grandma’s time-tested recipe or a special premier pot of the best concoction of ingredients ever to hit the palate, the chili competition heats up every year — all in good fun. The silent auction is always big hit and the Halloween costume contest is also sure to please. Other activities typically include pumpkin decorating, face painting, hayrides, bonfire, and live music. All in all, it’s a great evening for the whole family and you just never know what or who to expect. In past years, there have even been special guest appearances by the Colts Cheerleaders!
