Almost Time to Make a Splash

CALLING ALL SWIMMERS!! Practice makes perfect . . . grab your swimsuit and stay in your lane! Special Olympics Indiana State Summer Games in Terre Haute will be here before you know it.

Special Olympics Indiana – Marion County Southside Storm Swimming practice begins on March 17th (4:30 pm-5:45 pm) at beech grove high school .

If you have not been on the swimming team in the past, you will have to try out this year.  
The guidelines for your participation is below:

  1. You must be committed to attending the Summer Games in Terre Haute, June 17 – 19.
  2. You must be able to follow directions.
  3. You must know basic strokes, floating is a fundamental.  We are not equipped to teach swimming.
  4. Freestyle events will allow for a swim belt.  No vests or other floatation devices may be used during competition at Summer Games.
  5. Goggles are highly recommended
