The COVID-19 Pandemic may have changed the entire world as we know it; but thanks to the Special Olympics Indiana Management Team and the organizers of the 2020 Summer Games, a virtual version of the games will go on! Due to social distancing and keeping everyone safe, the traditional state-level events held at Terre Haute every year will be replaced this year with a Virtual Sports & Fitness Challenge which will consist of a five-week at-home challenge (June 12 – July 25). This event will also host the Flame of Hope Torch Run and the Opening Ceremonies & Dance in addition to the Sports and Fitness Challenge. Participants will be able to live stream events via soindiana.org or Facebook.
