The Special Olympics Indiana – Marion County Southside Hurricane team blew-in with unstoppable force as the players cinched second place in the volleyball competition during the Eunice Kennedy Shriver (EKS) Games to bring home the silver. The team served up their winning game almost two hours before officially being declared the silver place winners, so many of the athletes were not present for the awards ceremony and photo opportunity.
The Special Olympics Indiana – Marion County Southside Lightning team also struck with force and powered their way into a third place finish to bring home the bronze.
