Special Olympics Indiana – Marion County South unified golfers meant business as they swung and hit their way through the Special Olympics Indiana State Golf Tournament. Two teams represented Marion County South in the event and came to impress — each scoring better than their season averages which were submitted with the entry forms. Marion County Southside Storm athletes Trevor and Tom Koppel squashed the competition to bring home the gold in their flight while perseverance paid-off for Emry and Nick Himes as they hung in the competition to overcome a really tough flight to capture a fifth place finish.
