Amid sunny skies and perfect weather on Saturday, August 19th, Special Olympics Indiana – Marion County Southside Storm golfers showed up two by two at the Greensburg Country Club to participate in the 2017 Eunice Kennedy Shriver (EKS) Unified Golf Sectional. The mighty Southside Storm golfers putted, swung, sliced; and yes, even managed to find a sand trap or two along the way while completing the nine-hole course. All in all, it was a beautiful day to hang out and enjoy great friends and share in the love or frustration (depending on how you look at it) of the game. Some Marion County South golfers even captured top ranks in their divisions and brought home the prestige of the game, commemorated through their ribbons.
