While all eyes were fixed on a two and a half mile oval in Speedway during Indianapolis 500 weekend, a few Marion County Southside Storm athletes were visiting a farm in Zionsville and meeting country superstar — Carrie Underwood.
Carrie slipped into town and showed up for a special meet and greet, proving she really is a down to earth, all-American girl. She posed for photos and created special memories that will last a lifetime. The event was arranged through Down Syndrome Indiana.
While at the farm, Carrie had to share the spotlight with several farm animals including horses, llamas, chickens, roosters, and a pig named Pepper!
