The Special Olympics Indiana – Marion County Southside Storm swimming team might be only a mere eight members strong and the newest team to make a splash in the Marion County South organization; but, they are a mighty force with which to be reckoned. Although five out of eight athletes had never been in a swim meet before, the swimmers took their marks in their first-ever competition at the Johnson County Swim Meet at Whiteland High School and came away with some impressive results. Six of the swimmers will compete during Summer State Games in Terre Haute June 9 -11.
