Several Special Olympics Indiana – Marion County South athletes did just that. They ditched their sweat suits and sneakers and dressed to impress during the Annual Special Needs Prom at Rise Learning Center on Friday, May 5th. This year’s theme, Under the Big Top, transformed the halls of Rise Learning Center into a whimsical journey that catered to young and old alike — THE CIRCUS WAS IN TOWN!
Guests arrived one by one until the gym became a magical dance floor that let everyone bust-out their favorite moves. Southside Storm athletes were sprinkled throughout the crowd, having the time of their life and even posing for a few KODAK MOMENTS along the way.
