It’s prom time and Marion County Southside Storm’s Joseph Copass-Israels has reached new heights in setting the bar higher for special-needs inclusion in high school events. This year is Joseph’s senior year at Franklin Central High School. Not only was he asked to the Senior Prom by one of his peers and Sparkles Cheerleading Senior Coach, Paige Clegg, but the student body nominated him to the election ballot for Prom King. Joseph’s story even made local news.
Although, Joseph wasn’t elected Prom King, it was a magical fairy tale evening he will never forget.
