Another successful year of achievements, hard work, and dedication of athletes and volunteers alike was celebrated during the sixth Annual Special Olympics Indiana – Marion County South Banquet. Once again, the Holy Rosary Church graciously donated the venue, the Knights of Columbus #14449 prepared a delicious fried chicken dinner, and Peter Boylan showcased the highlights of the year through a PowerPoint presentation.
Chris and Karla Miller of Millennium Entertainment, Inc. were back by popular demand and donated DJ services for their third year of playing the tunes and getting everybody on their feet to dance night away.
Marion County Southside Storm is fortunate to have so many volunteers and supporters who selflessly dedicate their time, efforts, and money to ensure the success of the Southside Storm’s athletic program. Without the generosity of our volunteers and supporters, the Special Olympics Indiana – Marion County South program could not survive and our athletes would not have the opportunity to share in the special bond of friendships and soar in their athletic achievements.
