Joseph Copass-Israels is one of several Marion County Southside Storm athletes who pulls double duty as a Sparkles cheerleader for Franklin Central High School and also participates in many sports activities through Special Olympics Indiana. During Sparkles performances, Joseph is popular with spectators as he leads the student section in a resounding chant of “Yes! Yes! Yes!”
Joseph’s enthusiastic “Yes! Yes! Yes!” chant originated from watching his hands-down, favorite hero of all times, WWE wrestler Daniel Bryan. Recently, Joseph’s mom, Brenda, and faithful companion dog, Makana, treated Joseph to a car show where Daniel Bryan made an appearance. They stood in line for over three hours to meet Joseph’s hero; but, Mom Brenda said, “It was awesome and well worth the wait!”
