Joseph Copass-Israels proved once again that living with Down Syndrome doesn’t mean you can’t reach for the stars and live your dreams. His photo entry was selected as one of approximately 450 photos (out of over 2,000 entries) to appear in an annual video presentation at Times Square to promote the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS). Joseph was rewarded with a trip to the Big Apple to experience the excitement firsthand (as shown left). His story also appeared locally, in community newspapers.
